Welcome to the History of AOL website. The first thing you're probably wondering is, "What is Quantumlink?  Or Habitat?  What's it got to do with AOL?"  Well, that's the thing. There are many websites, news stories, and publications which talk about AOL's struggle to grow, and how it eventually became a household word, even in homes without PC's. The unfortunate thing is, most of them don't go into detail about how it began. That's where we come in.

For those of you visiting from Dreamscape, don't worry. You haven't been misled. You're probably wondering what any of this has to do with Kymer. The fact is, a lot. Dreamscape is a lot older then you think. The game actually existed in 1987, and was known as Habitat. This website explains how, and even shows you pictures of it's evolution from Habitat to Club Caribe, and to the world you know today as Dreamscape.
